| Good design is essential for a serious business website. When you represent your company on the Internet, you want to look good and one of our greatest strengths at Cottagewebs, is to make sure your website looks good.
There are many web agencies who are skillful computer programmers, yet with little design experience which is why so many websites end up looking bland, boring and empty, with little pictorial content. On the other hand there are also some web agencies with absolutely no design experience often resulting in cluttered, poorly managed sites which are difficult to navigate around and crammed full of graphics which often have very little to do with the website content. At Cottagewebs, we carefully address the balance of all these design issues, to give you a site which is clean and simple to use whilst at the same time, visually pleasing.
We never use templates and create each new design from a blank slate.

Corporate Identity, Logo Design and Photography
Our Creative Partner worked for 10 years in graphic design, print and promotional work, before graduating to web design back in 1998 at a time when the internet first came into play and is fully experienced in working with your corporate identity, to incorporate company logo, typeface and colours into your own website.
We are also highly skilled in photoshop and flash and see each new client as a fresh challenge, working to create graphics which will enhance your image, especially if you have no corporate identity of your own - in which case we can create one for you - likewise if you are unhappy with your current company image. We have assisted many companies in the design of a new logo and will undertake many other elements of design work for you such as web banners, adverts, brochures and business cards.
We enjoy being flexible in our approach to design - for example our newest project has been designing wrappers (or skins) for a web video production company, to enhance their videos.
We are also skilled in digital photography and often assist customers by including our own photography into their websites, or undertaking photo work on their behalf, (shops for example, may require photos of their products). On occasions, we can also source very good library photography at reasonable rates if a customer is looking for something very special.
